Pair of 19th Century Tramp Art Photo Frames Hand Carved, Austria circa 1880

About the Item

Beautiful pair of smaller Tramp Art photo frames from the period in Austria around 1880. Elaborately hand carved out of bass this antique photo frames show the so-called "notch cut" technique. The dark brown stained surfaces reinforce this fantastic looking design. Still holding the original mouth blown glass plates, these extraordinary rustic frames can hold pictures/ photos up to a maximum size of 3.9" x 6.3". A really decorative pair of a late 19th century Tramp Art photo frames coming in perfect restored condition.
