About the Item
Lovely carved Tramp Art photo frame coming out of Austria from the late 19th century around 1880. Elaborately hand carved out of fine basswood, this unusual, very detailed "Tramp Art" work has been processed in the so called "pyramid technique". An artfully design which different stained wooden bars and protruding corners perfectly underline the rustic charm of this amazing antique frame. An additional small "roof" on the top center and the still original mouth blown glass plate finalizes the amazing look of this beautiful rural Tramp Art photo frame. It can hold photos up to a maximum size of 7.8" x 6.2".
