18th Century Carved and Polychromed Wood Animas Carvings

Fantastic pair of 18th century carved animas figures. Animas figures represent the spirits of departed family or friends and were placed on altars in homes during the "Day of the Dead" in Central America and "All Saints Day" in Europe. We believe these are European carved.
