About the Item
This compelling biomorphic abstraction by Roszi Tevan is a very provocative form. Dark and mysterious, the piece seems alive despite the dense materiality. Inside a large mushroom shape small shapes appear to undulate and multiply, speaking to the eroticisim of nature. Singed and dated by the artist in 1975, it also bears the mark of the foundry where it was created and is attached to a square stone base.
