“My work is focused on the search for forms and two forms are at the base of this search, the triangle and the curve, playing their participation alone or in association.
The translation of my emotions leads to an abstract work.
Abstraction places us outside our habits of thought; we cannot appeal to our ability to recognize; we must only refer to our own experiences and allow ourselves to rediscover first sensations, emotions. To go further than the imitation of the forms we have in front of us is for me the true creation.
Our capacity to perceive is much broader than we think; but we must devote attention to it and allow ourselves the freedom to look at the work as it is, to accept what it gives us to think, according to our personal journey – this is a parenthesis of truth.”
