The translation of my emotions leads to an abstract work. Abstraction places us outside our habits of thought; we cannot appeal to our ability to recognize; we must only refer to our own experiences and allow ourselves to rediscover first sensations, emotions. To go further than the imitation of the forms we have in front of us is for me the true creation.
