Alicia Penalba was an Argentinian sculptor, who graduated from the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. Her impressive technique combines spirituality and abstraction, and her sculptures take on many forms such as images of evolutionary processes, metaphors of our psychic and spiritual behavior, erotic figures and symbols nourished by myths.
