About the Item
The heartwood is the inner part of the wood, its steel-hard core corresponds to the oldest growth zones formed by the tree. It is this dark material that persisted in the European walnut logs that Jules Lobgeois stored at the back of his workshop. To pay homage to this tree, he followed as closely as possible the curves that the heartwood imposed on his tools. A piece of stainless steel, chiseled, comes to finish the piece on the surface. Can be displayed as a sculpture or used as a side table. Unique piece.
Use and care:
Do not use anything abrasive, clean the wooden part with a soft cloth or a microfiber, clean the steel part with clear water and a soft damp cloth.
