About the Item
Single solid brass egg atop a small wooden block base. In the manner of Luciano Fontana's Brass Egg with Slash detail, and reminiscent of Carl Auböck's Paperweight "Egg", Austria. Egg has blemishes and wear along with the beginning stages of some verdigris patination. Wooden black base has wear and some chips to paint. Style as a decorative object on any surface or shelving.
