A MONSTRANCE FOR GEMSTONES
Un'ode ai tesori della natura
L'ostensorio, un santuario della contemplazione, ci invita a scrutare nel cuore del nostro pianeta. Queste gemme non sono solo minerali inerti; sono canali attraverso i quali la Terra ci parla, condividendo le sue narrazioni nascoste, il suo viaggio tumultuoso e il suo intricato cammino. Quando teniamo in mano queste gemme, teniamo in mano il tempo stesso, l'incarnazione della resilienza duratura e della saggezza senza tempo della Terra.
Tuttavia, facciamo in modo che questo ostensorio significhi qualcosa di più di una semplice ammirazione; facciamo in modo che accenda un impegno di gestione. La ricerca di queste gemme, a volte, è arrivata a scapito del delicato equilibrio della natura. In questo momento solenne, ci impegniamo a proteggere questi tesori, a cercare pratiche etiche che onorino le ricchezze della Terra senza sfruttarne la fragilità. Realizzati in argilla rossa con argilla bianca e rosa engobbio e polvere/sabbia, i Monstraces ricordano radici o ossa, grazie alla ruvidità al tatto e all'aspetto terroso e organico.
I minerali che fanno parte del set sono: quarzo chiaro, ametista e rosa del deserto (gesso).
IL SET È FORNITO CON CERTIFICAZIONE, timbrata e firmata. Insieme al pezzo viene fornito anche un sacchetto con la terra originale.

Elena Pelosi
FUNCTIONAL ART OBJECTS “Engaging with art every day inspires and enriches our lives. Bring artwork into your daily routine with handcrafted ceramics and sculptural furniture that blur the line between form and function.”
Elena Pelosi has a strong passion about art, and her artistic work has been locally exhibited and included in private collections. She started using clay during her study in “Restoration of ceramic and glass” in Venice.
Her studies and her passion for multimedia, painting, chemistry, and photography are the roots of her interdisciplinary approach to design and love of materials. She carries out personal research on design and arts by traveling all around the world, studying different cultures, and raw materials, and realizing projects for residences, furnishings, collections, and decorations rich with cross-references. Some years ago, she resumed her exploration of ceramic and its potential. She focuses on an alchemical knowledge of natural materials and their reactions, in relation to philosophical ideas on transformation and regeneration,.
Thanks to a common passion for ceramics, a collab between a designer, Elena Pelosi, and a creative director, Luca Lanzoni, at the historical fornace Curti in Milan, leads to limited editions and events, in order to promote a modern approach to ceramic, among art, design and fashion. They called this project MADE IN FORNACE.
