This signed vintage French Art Deco "Les Girls' Sculpture on an onyx, bronze and slate pedestal is perfect for you and your home! Demetre Chiparus is perhaps the most famous proponent of Bronze and Ivory Art Deco figurines and certainly one of the most important sculptors of the Art Deco period. His sculptures are admired for their elegance and style and are much sought after by Art Deco collectors. This pair is sure to bring a sense of sophistication and luxury to your modern entryway, living room, dining room, office or place of your choosing. One really nice aspect to this pair is their ability to be paired with a variety of other styles from french to formal and modern as well. This piece is something that will absolutely stand out and separate your home from all of the others. The Sculpture is signed "D.H Chiparus" as is the pedestal on the bronze deco plaque in the front. These are in good vintage condition with minimal chips and surface scratches, otherwise good condition.
