Susan Tribu 33.22 Sculpture by Léontine Furcy

About the Item

Susan Tribu 33.22 sculpture by Léontine Furcy Unique piece. Materials: Raw red sandstone. Dimensions: L 30 x H 35 cm. Léontine Furcy, ceramic artist, tells about herself in shapes, textures, curves, asymmetries, purifications. Each of the pieces is a unique and instinctive creation guided by the material in search of a sculptural free form, obvious. The earth is the vector for the exploration of its inner world, and its creations the multitude of what it is made of. It is an endless work, which aspires to find oneself without defining, to accept oneself without judging oneself, to abandon oneself in letting go and to free oneself from the dictates of uniform and rationalized beauty, that which one conveys as the truth of the beautiful everywhere.
