Mounted atop a mottled rouge marble plinth.
Simply a lovely Egyptian Revival bronze!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition details:
The lion is just a tad loose and wiggles a little bit when moved. Otherwise, there is some edge wear and minor edge losses to the marble plinth throughout, some rubbing to the patina, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
