Armand PETERSEN (1891-1969) : "Hippopotamus" White mat enameled porcelain edited by Bing & Grundahl between 1932 and 1955 Originally planned for a 55 pieces edition, this exceptionnal Hippo is the only one known and seen by the heirs of Armand Petersen untill nowaday, as on the worldwide artmarket. They only knew the black and withe photo that was published in a home decoration catalogue of the 30's we can provide the source ...untill we discover the real sculpture !
