Cats are more rarely seen in porcelain than dogs, this porcelain Chamberlain Worcester cat and her kitten, circa 1810, are seated on a square base., 1.5 inches long and 2 inches high. Robert Chamberlain opened his shop in 1791 and from that point forward began the manufacture of porcelain, including this adorable cat sitting with her kitten lying recumbent.
