English 1900s Standing Terracotta Pug Sculpture with Glass Eyes and Collar
About the Item
An English terracotta standing dog sculpture from the early 20th century, with glass eyes, green collar and bells. Created in England during the early years of the 20th century, this terracotta dog sculpture features a pug standing firmly on his four paws, in an alert position. His facial expression, accentuated by the presence of his glass eyes, is very serious as he is focused on a scene invisible to us. His tail curled up, he seems ready to play. Placed anywhere in a home from a living room to a foyer, this English terracotta pug circa 1900 will enliven any space beautifully.
