Louis Vidal (1831-1892) A Mortally Wounded Stag Deer or Elk, Bronze, 10 by 14 by 9 inches, Signed "Vidal L'aveugle" lower center on top of base. This bronze by Vidal was most probably casted in the atelier of Antoine Louis Barye as they worked together on many of Vidal's Bronzes. Vidal was legally blind and a good friend and colleague of Barye. Condition is Very Good with a beautiful green patina.
