About the Item

Here's a pair of fanciful metal roosters by Curtis Jere--let's just say these are some funky chickens. They're made of cut metal and appear to be plated in copper then treated to give an iridescent finish that gives the feathers an interesting, shimmery affect. The eyes, which are made of acrylic, have some slight fracture lines and scratches, but otherwise, the pair is in very good condition. Although unsigned, there are examples of this design mounted on bases where the signature is on the underside. One rooster measures approximately 12" high x 18" wide x 5" deep--the other approximately 13.5" high x 16.5" wide x 5" deep. These sizable roosters will add a touch of whimsy to any room.
