About
Magnificent bird in orange blown glass. The entire body of the sculpture is textured.
He rests on copper feet and his eyes are made of murrines hot applied during the manufacturing process.
Designed in 1963, this bird is one of a series of 5 different "species". Each bird is composed of a typical 60s color and decorations of murrines and applied glass decorations.
Recognizable among all, a nice object that makes the viewer smile and that leaves no one indifferent!
In very good original vintage condition.
Alessandro Pianon was born in Venice in 1931.
He returned to vistosi in the early 1960s.
He drew this famous series of birds there in 1963, as well as lighting. He also imagines the logo used by Vistosi.
The bird series will meet with great commercial success.
