We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning and very rare original Chinese Export circa 1900 Shoushan stone carving of mountain lions on rocks
I have two Shoushan stone carvings, the other which is listed under my other items is an absolutely sublime diorama, it has Pandas, Crain birds, trees, it is exquisite
This one has a Shoushan stone base with Soapstone carved Lions, they are very naturalistic and well carved using the natural shape of the stone as part of sculpture. They are extremely tactile of decades and now more than a century of people rubbing it most likely for luck!
