Susse Frers Foundry Circa 1930 Origin Francia Handmade technique It is a table bell (electrical system is missing) The bronze of the sculpture is in excellent condition. It has its original patina with some wear consistent with its age It is a completely original piece by the artist signed on one side and the foundry seal on the other Edouard Marcel Sandoz, nacido en Basilea, Suiza en 1881, fue un pintor decorativo (de interiores) y escultor art deco. Asistió a la Escuela de Bellas Artes de París y recibió la influencia de Francois Pompon, un escultor francés conocido por sus esculturas de animales. Fue enseñado por Antonin Mercié y Jean Antoine Injalbert, uno de los más grandes escultores de Francia. Sandoz fue miembro de la Académie des Beaux-Arts de l'Institut de France. Ha sido galardonado con la Legión de Honor y la Orden de las Artes y las Letras de Francia. Murió en Lausana, Suiza en 1971.
