19 Century French Thomas Jefferson Bust in Bronze

French school, circa 1860. Small bronze bust of the main author of the Declaration of Independence, Ambassador in Paris (1785-1789), thrid USA President (1801-1809). Cast in a dark brown bronze resting on a fluted black marble pedestal. Excellent condition with the exception of small chip in marble base.
