About the Item

A Thai bronze head of Buddha, Ayutthaya period, late 16th-early 17th century. His face with serene expression, arched eyebrows above incised eyes and lips, aquiline nose. Wearing a decorated tiara in front of a conical-shaped usnisha. Mounted on a walnut base. A great piece to have in the house as a reminder to make time for meditation and mindfulness.
