About the Item
Busto in pietra raffigurante il ritratto del celebre poeta rinascimentale Francesco Petrarca, epoca XIX secolo, altezza 56 cm, dimensioni massime 48x24 cm.
Il busto è probabilmente stato conservato anticamente all'esterno, la pietra è stata usurata dalle intemperie, ma essendo una pietra molto dura si è comunque ben conservata.
Il busto presenta delle piccole mancanze sul naso, sulla guancia e sul drappo a destra (come da fotografia).
Sul collo una felure della materia della pietra si è leggermente aperta, ma senza creare alcun danno strutturale. Il busto si presenta molto compatto e già ben fruibile nonostante l'epoca.
