Marcel Bouraine - Terracotta Sculpture - Bust Of Woman

About the Item

Marcel Bouraine (1886–1948) Terracotta sculpture depicting the bust of a beautiful young woman with very fine features and a hairstyle made up of fine braids pulled back and held in a sort of large flared bun. Art deco composition, reminiscent of communist art of the 1930s (personal interpretation) Signed Bouraine at the base of the neck Wooden base in macassar ebony veneer. Good condition, some wear to the patina, no damage.
