About the Item
The finely sculpted terracotta signed in script on the reverse together with a reference to ‘Barbados’. Raised upon a square teak base, the underside bearing written notation ‘Terracotta – Barbadian’. Dimensions, 11” high (including base).
Provenance: Purchased directly from the artists estate.
Harold Sampson Pfeiffer (1908-1997) is a listed member of the Sculptors Society of Canada (SSC) whose works are in several public collections including Alberta House in London England, The Canadian Museum of Civilization in Hull Quebec, The Sculptor’s Society of Canada, Toronto Ontario.
