An elegant and most charming pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated Bronze and Ormolu busts of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. This stunning pair are raised on hexagon shaped patinated Bronze bases below circular laurel bands with crossed ribbon decorations. Above is the rounded pedestal with a stately front coat of arms displaying the Royal symbol of the three Fleur de Lys. The circular socle below the busts has a double stepped laurel band. Above are the two busts, one of Marie Antoinette wearing a blouse with a front patinated Bronze tied bow. She is gazing to her left while wearing her hair down and another tied bow at the top. The other bust of Louis XVI displays him wearing a jacket with branches of berried laurel garlands. He also displays a tied bow in patinated Bronze while gazing to his right.
