Vintage Ceramic Terracotta Portrait Bust Sculpture, Late 20th Century

About the Item

HEAD AND SHOULDER PORTRAIT STATUE Depicting a female head with a large collar. Skilfully executed, capturing the real emotions of the sitter and delivering a real presence within the room. Made from raw terracotta sculpted using the hands and small tools. Signed ‘P W Jones’ and dated ‘97’ to the back of the collar. Titled on the front collar ‘Una Jones’ so would presume a family member of the artist, possibly a mother or grandmother. It is in very good vintage condition with only minor wear commensurate with age. Measuring 34cm high x 22cm wide x 22cm deep.
