About the Item
Antique bronze, "The Circus Clown" signed by Joseph Joe Brown. This sculpture is a dynamic piece with great patina. The detailing of the ruffles on the collar is done with great detail. Joe Brown reproduced the works during the years 1932-1966. This piece is of the circus clown from the comedy film of 1934.
It is signed 1950 by Joe Brown. He created more than 400 works of art, statuettes, portrait busts, and sculptures. He was a full professor of art at Princeton University until 1977.
It is truly a work of art.
