About the Item
She’s 21 ½ inches to the top of her mighty ivrene bow. The metalwork is all patinated spelter, a white metal (zinc, lead, copper, other metals) formula less expensive than bronze, something “normal folk” could purchase; and they did! The bases are of onyx and Belgian black marble, what more lovely a combination?
Years ago I had the identical sculpture – just the lady on the same base – and it was signed Uriano. I hereby proclaim this unsigned statue: Uriano!
