Seated monk carved in sandstone, originating from a Buddhist pagoda or temple in Burma, dating back to the 15th century.
Discovered as part of an archaeological find after an earthquake in the Arakan region in the 1700s.
This figure displays a beautiful, naturally aged patina that enhances its historical character.
