Magnificent patinated bronze sculpture by Auguste Joseph Peiffer, 19th Century, signed.
The piece features a seated maiden draped in Classical Greek attire. It is mounted on an elegant curved wood base accented with decorative bead trim. The bronze is in good condition and has beautiful patina. Signed on the lower side of bronze. A gorgeous work of art, impressive even from a distance.
