About the Item

This vintage majestic bronze animal sculpture & clock date from early 1900’s. The sculpture was created & signed by the artist, MERCULIANO. The stunning patinated dark green bronze sculpture of a mountain lion has a beautifully & meticulously rendered detailed muscular body. The crouching fierce appearing big cat is menacingly positioned, ready to attack, from the rugged rouge & grey marble plinth. This marble plinth has been adapted, probably by Tiffany & Co., to hold a splendid Tiffany & Co. clock. This clock has a brilliant white enamel face with minimal spidering & prominent black Roman numerals positioned behind a curved convex glass hinged door. This fabulous ensemble was retailed by Tiffany & Co. & is a perfect accent for a mountain lodge, cabin &/or man’s den. The clock has a key wind movement, pendulum & key. It will require a cleaning & service to keep time & is sold “as is”.
