Suggestiva coppia di sculture lignee raffiguranti angeli in volo, scolpiti a tutto tondo e rivestiti da una raffinata doratura a foglia oro. Le figure, di forte espressività e movimento, sono rappresentate con un braccio sollevato, probabilmente per reggere un elemento oggi mancante – verosimilmente una corona o altro attributo simbolico, come spesso accadeva nei complessi altorilievi o sugli altari dedicati alla Madonna. Le due opere misurano rispettivamente: Angelo 1: altezza 103 cm (da mano a piede), larghezza circa 36 cm, profondità 23 cm Angelo 2: altezza 98 cm, larghezza circa 34 cm, profondità 21 cm Le sculture presentano evidenti segni del tempo e testimonianze di antichi interventi: mancanze (come un’ala sostituita), integrazioni visibili (rifacimento di alcune dita), e applicazioni successive di porporina, in particolare su mani e piedi. Il colore del bolo (arancio chiaro tendente al giallo) suggerisce una provenienza veneta. La qualità della doratura e l’eleganza delle forme confermano l’alta manifattura delle opere, nonostante le condizioni conservative. Gli angeli possono essere restaurati oppure lasciati nello stato attuale, valorizzandone la patina storica a seconda del gusto del collezionista. Spedizione internazionale disponibile.
