About the Item
A beautiful Italian 19th century Neo-Classical st. Alabaster statue of The Three Graces. This wonderful Alabaster statue is raised by its original oval base with mottled edges and decorated with swaging floral garlands held by flowing fabrics. The three elegant maidens, Euphrosyne, Aglaea and Thalia, are embracing each other with joy and comfort while leaning against a pedestal. Each semi-nude maiden is modestly holding a loose fitting flowing garment with their hair tied back by floral bands.
