A beautiful and very high quality Italian 19th century Neo-Classical st. white Carrara marble statue of Venus de Milo, signed G. Pettini & Figli Pisa. The statue is raised by a wonderfully executed ground designed base where the signature is displayed. The beautiful Venus above is draped in a finely detailed garment wrapped around her midriff. She wears her hair in an updo and displays exceptional attention to detail throughout.
