This Buddha is called "nyoi-rin-kannon" in Japanese.
It is a Buddha statue that grants wishes as you wish and removes suffering.
This sitting figure with his hands on his cheeks shows that he is thinking about how to save people.
This is a stone Buddha statue made in the latter half of the Edo period in Japan.
Statues have been created in various parts of Japan since the mid-Edo period.
It has a rustic carving and a soft, rounded body. It weighs 19.8 kg, so please place it in your garden or other place to display it.
