About the Item
Rare antique bronze by the austrian sculptor Eutrope Bouret (*16.April 1833 in Paris - 1906) on a marble base.
Signed by the arist "Bouret" at the plinth.
This beautiful bronze depicts a school boy holding a fruit in the left hand with a pichnick basket standing between his feet.
The inscription on the base says "SORTIE D´ÉCOLE - Par Bouret (Mention au Salon)", roughly translated "School´s Out".
