Is there anything in this world as undeniably beautiful as A Mother’s Love? If you’ve ever been on the receiving end of such love… you know the answer!!! This is an absolutely GORGEOUS vintage sculpture titled “A Mother’s Love” signed by artist David Fisher for Austin Sculptures. It is a lovely figural comprised of a faux stone composite called durastone bearing the profile of a woman holding her two children in a loving embrace. David Fisher brings them to life with his attention to detail in their soft facial expressions, smooth flowing hair, innocent eyes, and delicate toes peeking through the base of the sculpture. It exudes with a gentle, kind, protective, sheltering, and nurturing aura… all things motherly. And it stands strong upon a black laminate covered wood platform and is sure to bring a magnificent Modern approach to maternal love into any room of your home.
David Fisher is a graduate of the Greek Art College of Odessa and has worked for over thirty years as a sculptor in marble, granite, bronze, and wood. He has also been an honorary member of the Professional Arts union in the U.S.S.R. for over twenty years. He emigrated to the U.S. and won a first-place prize for his sculpture for the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington D.C.
Austin has been creating sculptural treasures that enrich the world for over thirty years. From the rustic forms of Africa, through the ornamental and contemplative Oriental sculpture, to contemporary works of the present. Austin Sculpture Collections have over five hundred distinctive pieces and each has a history as unique as the sculpture itself.
This sculpture is an extraordinary example of a mother’s eternal love created by an acclaimed artist for a distinguished manufacturer. Surely you are in LOVE with it as much as we are! What are you waiting for? Make it yours!!

There he is… out in the distance standing on the cliffs edge, rearing with a colossal power that only a wild stallion exudes… Thrusting his hooves at the setting sun as if to say, “this is MY mountain, MY meadows, and MY heard.” He commands attention, he is dignified, and he is EXQUISITE. We have a marvelous cast metal bronze tone stylized rearing horse standing on a beautiful black marble base to offer to you. Attributed to C. Jere (a.k.a.) Curtis Jere which is not a single artist but is a nom-de-plume for a group of artists working for Artisan House and well known for their phenomenal jewelry, metal sculptures, and collectibles. And this abstract rearing horse is a perfect example of their remarkable pieces!! Unlike other rearing horse sculptures, this one has a single back and front leg… it appears to have been cast this way and we think he is extraordinary. This sculpture will look fabulous on your desk, coffee table, or on a shelf in any room of your home. And though it’s modern, it will be beautiful anywhere you want to add a little abstract flair. This is just the sculpture you’ve been looking for!
Artisan House artists included founders Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels and Curtis Jere is a combination of their names. Before founding Artisan House these two friends and brothers-in-law had built a costume jewelry business which sold under the names of Renoir and Matisse, two well-known names of mid-20th century costume jewelry. During the mid-20th century, the C. Jere sculptures, and metal work were distributed by Raymor, a well-known name in Mid Century collectibles, and sold at Gump’s in San Francisco and other upscale retail establishments. Jerry Fels died 11...

The definition of a woman? SHE is complicated… SHE is strong… when she isn’t feeling weak. SHE is happy… when she isn’t feeling sad. SHE can do anything placed in front of her… if she can get out of bed. SHE is bold and daring… but sometimes she feels simple. SHE is independent… but sometimes she needs you. She doesn’t want to “blend in” … but she’s judged if she “stands out.” SHE is too old to wear this and too young to wear that. She is too fat; she is too thin… She is your best friend… but SHE is her own worst enemy. She is aged longing for her youth… she is young longing for adulthood. SHE has been labeled as mother, grandmother, wife, girlfriend, partner, daughter, sister… but WHO is SHE to herself?? If SHE is strong willed… she is a b**ch. If SHE is sexy or seductive… she is a tramp. If SHE is reserved… she is a prude. She doesn’t care… but she really cares TOO much! If she could see herself as others do, she would see that SHE is a creation of perfection. Exactly who she is supposed to be. Unique. Individual. Irreplaceable. Definition of a woman? SHE is a masterpiece… but SHE is complicated.
We have an incredible life-sized art assemblage created by renowned designer Susan Tibbles for your viewing pleasure! This piece is titled “Master Lock,” and was custom made and hand crafted by Susan Tibbles in 1989. It is composed of a masterfully sculpted and crafted 3-diminsional woman’s silver negligee, thigh high fish net stockings with lock details on the thigh straps, black spiked stiletto heels, and a silver beaded & spiked neck collar with a ring attached to a full-length chain draping from the collar to a hook at the top of the case. The chain hangs down to the base of the case where it gathers between the spiked heels. SASSY!! The sculpture stands in front of a black leather-like back drop inside a monumental black and white display case...
