About the Item
This sweet little cold painted Vienna bronze is a nice example of the work of the Bergmann Foundry. It bears his seal impressed on the outside of his left thigh as shown in our photos.
The young boy sits and contemplates with his logs next to him. Waiting to get it lit possibly. All the fine work of the Bergmann Foundry is present. Good detailing to the casting and paint. A fine example by the most respected and prolific maker of this genre.
