Pair of 18th-century architectural fragments
Located in Rio De Janeiro, BR
This pair of 18th-century architectural fragments captures the elegance and craftsmanship of colonial-era decorative art. Originally part of a larger structure, these wooden fragments showcase intricate carvings, likely once embellishing a grand interior space with their distinctive style. Each piece features a graceful, fluted column-like design with scrolling volutes, adding a sense of movement and refinement that reflects the baroque influence prevalent during the period.
The patina on the wood speaks to the age and authenticity of these fragments, with a natural wear that enhances their character and historical charm. Delicate foliate motifs can be observed near the top, subtly incorporated into the design to evoke a sense of organic beauty. The unique curvature and details would have made these fragments a highlight within their original architectural setting.
These fragments are versatile in their potential uses today, making them ideal as decorative pieces in various settings. Whether mounted on a wall or displayed on pedestals, they serve as striking reminders of 18th-century artistry and add a sense of historical grandeur to any space. Perfect for collectors of architectural antiques or those seeking to bring a touch of old-world charm into their interiors, these fragments stand...

Located in Miami, US
Presenting Pachamama, a remarkable sculpture by the renowned artist Pablo Amoedo. This intricate piece is a stunning fusion of materials, including iron, aluminum, laminated wood, epoxy, bronze, and acrylic, showcasing Amoedo’s exceptional craftsmanship and creative vision.
The central body, ears, and base of the sculpture are crafted from cut and rolled iron sheets, meticulously bolted together with bronze fasteners. The face and hands are made of satin-finished white epoxy, offering a smooth and refined contrast to the industrial materials. The legs and arms, formed from patinated iron pipes, feature aluminum joints and patinated bronze details, adding both durability and visual complexity. The shoes are composed of phenolic wood and earth-cast, turned aluminum, highlighting the artist’s attention to detail. A translucent acrylic plate, embedded with red epoxy inlays...

Sukhasana Sculpture by Marcela Cure

Sukhasana sculpture by Marcela Cure
Dimensions: W 38 x D 23 x H 15 cm
Materials: resin and Stone Composite
Our Sukhasana sculpture is inspired by the calming pose commonly used for meditation and practicing breathing exercises.
This collection is inspired by the seducing form of the human body. Pieces that speak for themselves. The pieces in this collection are carefully hand-sculpted in clay and later hand cast in a mixture of resin and stone.
Marcela Cure is an interior designer from Barranquilla, Colombia, who, in addition to designing contemporary spaces with a Latin Punch, creates exquisite hand-sculpted art objects in materials sourced from the earth.
Inspired by the creative legacy of her late mother, a renowned plastic artist, Marcela dedicated herself to designing her own spaces with such impeccable taste and creativity, that friends and family began to comission her design projects.
It was at the end of 2015 that "Marcela Cure" was established as an interior design firm focused on contemporary and luxury projects, from which modern, cheerful spaces with an evident Latin American spirit are proposed, as well as contemporary art objects.
