Original "mordoré" patinated bronze sculpture showinga nude standing on her knees, the high part of the body propelled forward like suspended
Signed by sculptor monogram "P.Lagénie" and numebered 3/8 by engraving on right calf
She looks like strongly hold something with her two hands on her right shoulder that could be her baby
This may explain the title "La louve" which means "she-wolf" in English
