Zinc Statue of a Flemish Lady Who is Window Shopping at UNIC Supermarket

About the Item

This art object was made in the 1970s in a limited series. It was commissioned by Belgian supermarket chain UNIC and depicts a lady who is window shopping. The lady has her nose pushed against the glass window checking if the store contains anything to her liking. In her right hand she carries a shopping bag. The metal tag on the bottom says in Dutch: "Winkelen is UNIC. Gelimiteerde uitgave. Nummer 366." In English: "Shopping is UNIC. Limited edition. Number 366."
