These eggs, one an ostrich the other an emu egg, are of nice size and color and have been mounted on silver plated bases. The bases are made in America. The objects came from an estate that contained a number of other similar items such as a pair of ostrich eggs mounted with silver bases and candle cups creating candlesticks.
