About the Item

This agate showcases a rarely seen contrast of colors, aesthetics, and formations. With its small size, this is the perfect energetic crystal to display in your space, being it a Nature amazingly formed the agate laces, where you can visualize the growth pattern they had during millions of years of evolution. Hundreds of tiny blue and white laces interlaced, creating the first, bold layer of agate that later developed into bolder blue, gray and white laces. And just like the icing on the cake, in its center, you can find the purple amethyst druzy, giving contrast and a sparkly quality to it. It is very important to highlight the fact that this Agate Geode brings its purest form and no treatment has been applied to it. Outstanding from every angle, this blue lace agate geode is sure to be an amazing addition to your crystal collection. Check out the photos to see more details and feel free to send us a message if you have any questions or specific requests. 🤍 You may be wondering, how were the blue lace layers formed? It's just amazing. Agates normally form inside bubbles or cavities of igneous (volcanic) basalt, and over time, these cavities are filled with layers of water with high concentrations of silica. As the water slowly evaporates, it forms a layer of silica gel, which eventually solidifies into a layer of agate. This is a very slow process, with each layer containing different impurities, resulting in the formation of various colored bands. Amethyst Geode with Deep Purple Amethyst Druzy, Blue Lace Agate, and Calcite
Located in Ametista Do Sul, BR
A geode that stands as an impressive natural sculpture, with calcite, deep purple, and shiny amethyst, and an aesthetical calcite inclusion interlacing that forms a unique display of natural artistry, a centerpiece. Rarely seen in any Amethyst specimen, the contrast between the deep purple Amethyst and the Blue Lace Agate creates a stunning visual effect. The Blue Lace Agate forms a natural frame in teal, white, and light blue colors that allows the Amethyst to shine from within, bringing its grape-jelly purple, along with intact points, creating a lustrous, sparkly effect to the specimen. The Agate Lines are a very special and rare feature of this amethyst specimen. They formed uniformly throughout the entire specimen. The layers begin with a moss agate matrix containing calcite inclusions, which form beautiful natural flowers. These are covered by the first layer of blue lace agate. Atop this, baby-blue and white laces developed, eventually giving way to the galaxy amethyst, allowing it to shine. To crown the geode, calcite perfectly formed on its side, adding a much needed contrasting aesthetical point to it. On a Cathedral with a Nave top, it stands at almost 19 Inches tall and weighing almost 55 lbs. This exceptional Amethyst with Lace-Agate geode specimen...
