Golden Orange Citrine Crystal Cluster with Stalactite Flower and Calcite
Located in Ametista Do Sul, BR
Bringing rare Stalactite Flower formations covered by dazzling Citrine Druzy and Calcite, this Citrine Cluster exemplifies a Natural Artwork that is ready to become the centerpiece of your collection, or the energetic source of your home decor. Stalactite Flower Rosettes are the main characteristics of this Citrine, resembling blooming orange flowers from within with the high-grade druzy simulating their petals. The rich orange seen in this citrine is usually referred to as Golden Orange Citrine, a warm, sun-like color that radiates from the perfectly polished points. It formed in a rarely seen aesthetical shape, where two flowers formed in its top and a flower with calcite inclusions can be seen on the bottom, we decided to keep it as natural as we could, only emphasizing its beauty. Please check the pictures and the video, and feel free to message us in case you have any questions or particular requests. ▫️ Citrine Cluster with Stalactite Flower Rosettes (Heated Amethyst) ▫️ Color: Golden Orange ▫️ Size (With Base): -- 1.4 Kg - 3.1 lb -- 130 mm. - 5.1 in. Apple Sculpture by Per Hammarström, Sweden, 1980’s / 1990’s
Located in Stockholm, SE
Apple sculpture by Per Hammarström, Sweden, 1980’s / 1990’s. Stoneware. Signed. Per Hammarström is one of Sweden’s most highly regarded ceramicists. Per’s work doesn’t conform to the Swedish style of simplicity; instead he loves colour and texture, and exploring the multi-faceted function of ceramics. Per began his training at the Gustavsbergs Porcelain Studio in 1978, which is sadly no longer in existence. In 1984 he opened his own studio in Strängnäs, and has worked in this manner ever since. Per’s work is characterised by organic forms and his own distinctive glazes, often in bright colours and strong contrasts. His work is unique, each piece starting out as a roughly thrown form, which is worked and transformed into bowls that are characterised by their delicacy and translucency. The organic form is embodied in the textured ceramics of Per. His works are either made from stoneware or porcelain. The inspiration of much of his work is the sea, but he also draws from flora and fauna; and the changing of the seasons. The undulating colours of the sea, sky and land manifest themselves in his delicately crafted and vividly coloured ceramics. Through elaborate dining-ware and ceramic ornaments...

Antique, New and Vintage Natural Specimens

Natural specimens turn things found in nature, such as rocks, crystals and timber, into art. Sometimes these specimens are hand-carved into sculptures. Other times, antique, new and vintage natural specimens themselves are best displayed in their most untouched state. These pieces range from Victorian-era objects to modern-day designs and include everything from sculptures made from animal horns to works in wood, either as sculptures or merely imposing and provocative chunks of driftwood.

Natural specimens serve as compelling decor in any collection or home. Just as any curious decorative object, such as an ancient scientific instrument or taxidermy mount, will draw attention to your carefully curated home library or mantel, natural specimens can spark interesting discussions about life and art. Whether it’s a piece of ancient pottery formed from natural clay, plants sculpted from metal, sculptures of animals or antique stone, they grant a window into all of nature’s wonders.

Natural specimen sculptures can complement many aesthetics. A rare geode makes a stunning centerpiece in a study or living room. Crystals and rock crystal spheres carved in the 1970s add a sense of etherealness and quiet beauty to any space.

Whatever your taste, the selection of antique, new and vintage natural specimens on 1stDibs includes precisely the right piece for your space.
