About the Item

This striking specimen from the Democratic Republic of Congo presents a superb multi-mineral association rarely encountered in the mineral world. Sharp, glassy emerald-green Dioptase crystals dominate the piece, resting on a vivid blue Shattuckite-rich matrix. Scattered throughout are gemmy golden Adamite crystals, their luster and contrast adding remarkable depth and complexity to the specimen. The balance of color, crystal habit, and mineral diversity elevates this piece into the realm of true collector quality. The Dioptase crystals display excellent termination and transparency, while the Shattuckite provides a contrasting pastel backdrop. The Adamite accentuates the composition with golden flashes that catch the light and command attention. Combination specimens of this caliber are exceedingly rare. To find three highly collectible minerals together, each in such strong crystallization and harmonious arrangement, makes this specimen not only aesthetically stunning but scientifically significant. Its size, at nearly nine inches in length and over six pounds in weight, ensures it will stand as a cabinet centerpiece or museum-grade display specimen. Weight: 6.5 lb.
