A Phenomenal Grape Jelly Amethyst Cluster, Large, Aesthetical and Rare
▫️ Description
Phenomenal due to both its extraordinary color and unique formation, this Amethyst Cluster showcases a deep, rich purple tone known as the highly sought-after "Grape Jelly" amethyst. Its hue is so intensely dark that capturing accurate photos can be challenging. I’d describe this rare color as an blend of violet and black, resulting in the luxurious tone visible in this cluster specimen.
The amethyst points themselves are outstanding — large, perfectly intact, and possessing remarkable translucency that could be used for lapidary purposes but we chose to keep its integrity as this sculptural cluster.
Its formation is a chapter apart, with a flower-like cluster of amethyst points on the right side that combines with the perfect characteristics of the amethysts crystals and emanate sparkles when light reflects on them.
This geode also carries the peace of mind of being ethically sourced from my hometown, Ametista do Sul, Brazil.
