This Paradoxides trilobite specimen presented as-unearthed in matrix dates back over 499 million years to the Middle Cambrian Epoch. Paradoxides is one of the earliest known genus of trilobite. Displaying an elongated body with finely preserved details, this specimen offers exceptional visual impact and historical and scientific value. This striking example of one of the earliest large arthropods is ideal for collectors, educators, or anyone intrigued by ancient life. This particular specimen additionally features a rare formation around the tail spike: A cube of Pyrite is forming so that the fossilized spike juts through it in dramatic display.
