Unusually Large BRASS STALLION circa 1930-50

This is a stunning figurine table lamp of a nude lady bronze Figurine sculpture made in France, circa 1930. The figurine is heavy and made of bronze metal with good detail. It has been cold painted with a green colour which has worn away in places, showing a patinated bronze colour beneath. The lady is stood on a round ball above a shaped shell like base. The figure is holding the lamp above her head with the electric cable running into the base and vertically up her back to the lamp fitting above. A coloured spherical glass shade firmly sits in the dished support. The light is currently fitted with a small bayonet fitting, the whole electrical fitting having been PAT tested for safety compliance in the UK. The fitting could easily be modified to suit the electricity supply of the country where it might be used . This piece is typical of the Art Deco aesthetic, with the sleek lines of the nude girl figure holding the globe light above. The lamp is in full working order. These are a very good Large pair of Chinese foo or lion dogs on plinth's, sometimes called temple lions made of metal and hand gilded with fine detail, all in the Ming style but dating to the early 20th century, Circa 1920s period. These are an unusually large pair of Chinese Export Foo Dogs, nearly 12 inches tall, with an unpacked weight of over 2Kg each. These pair of Foo Dogs are modelled in the Ming style, sat on rectangular plinths with a brocade ball under one raised foot. These pieces are very well detailed, then hand gilded. The plinth's have detailed motifs moulded into the central panels with border detail along their upper and lower edges, with black felt to their bases.
